    Interest in rosy/sand boa subsection?
Would there be interest in a sand and rosy boa subsection in boas? I am asking for purely selfish reasons of course a I am a week away from picking up my first rosy. I also wonder if having a separate section for the smaller boas would be better as a 3 foot arid regional species has such different care requirements from an 8 foot tropical one. I have no idea the interest in sand boas, rubber boas, rosy boas, and the like but I would hope they are gaining popularity.

I use to keep sand boas in fair numbers, never saw a lot of interest in them forum wise, even when KS was a busy discussion location it was slow. With that said adding a sub section isn't a bad idea, if it takes off great, if it flounders you can always just collapse it back into the general boa section.

Put me down as interested. I love my rosys and would like to get into sand boas as well someday. It'd be nice to have a section to discuss them.

I, too, love my rosies. Very unique little worms. I’d like a section on them.

I'd definitely be interested. KSB are second on my list of snakes that I would like to keep and having a space to learn more about them in particular would be great!

I'd be interested. I'm reasearching into sand boas. Once I reach my goals with beeps I'd like to get one.

I have no experience with sand boas, but one of my rosies bites me all the time. I hold her, she’s fine. Cruising around my hand. Then she gets really interested in my thumb pad, near my palm. Tongue flicks, nose boops me, then very slowly arches her neck, very slowly opens her mouth, and very slowly bites me. She hangs on for a minute or two, slowly opens her mouth and backs off, then looks at me as if to say, “I’ve tasted better.” Then she cruises some more. If I nudge her neck when she’s arched, she cuts it out and is fine. It doesn’t hurt, I get a couple tiny pinpricks of blood. I don’t let anyone else
hold her. She’s such a dork, I just have to love her. She’s almost two and has always done this.

I am glad there are other people who love sausage snakes! Let's hope we get a rosy/sand section!
