Am new to using a rack system. Can you feed live food safely in a tub?
I recently got an ARS 70/30 hybrid rack system & have never had a tub system before. I have one ball python that will only take live food. This has prevented me from moving him to the tubs. Is there anyway to safely feed live food in a tub? I kept and bred boas repeatedly years ago, but ball pythons are new to me. Any advice on using a rack system would be much appreciated.

I have the same setup for a ball python. I tried putting him in a large vision cage, he hated it and stopped eating for 2 months. I put him back in his ars 70 tub and he ate the next day. Put the rat/mouse in and close the tub. If my guy is going to eat, it will be over in less than a minute. If he doesn't eat it right away, someone else gets a live rat that week. I don't leave the rat in the tub more than 10 minutes or so.
