    Nailed by a GTP
Today I went to spot clean in the GTP enclosure. I was holding him on his branch while I cleaned and decided to take some pictures while he was out. I slowly put him back into his enclosure and boom he bit me. After all the years I have had ball pythons, never been bit. This little feisty thing got me today! haha

You could probably avoid a bite like this in the future if you use long tongs & drape a small cloth/towel over him right before you pick up his branch.

At least that's what I'd do, not that the bite is serious or anything...I'd just rather avoid it. (in case he breaks off a tooth in ya!)

I tried this and he kept biting at the tongs and then biting at the cloth. Didn't want him to hurt himself. Oh well
