    Cleo and health problems.
Not sure what to say but Cleo is at the end of the road to figure out what’s been wrong....quit using his right leg two months ago or so and took him to a vet and well https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...8dd634d7b6.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...14e3660c7e.jpgjust got back from the vet....blood panel came back perfect minus some hormones that were elevated due to the inflammation in his arm...X-rays were done again and it shows some scary news....one way or another he is going to have his right arm amputated. It’s either a tumor or bone cancer that’s moving up his arm and is now in his humerus. Fluid was taken from his wrist and elbow and was sent off to the lab. We will know in two days the results...but just the prelim exams still scare me. Here’s a copy of his blood work and a picture of Cleo just because

    I just saw this.

Wow, I'm so sorry. This is a very scary thing to go through. I hope its just a tumor (not the bad kind) and not bone cancer. He looks like such a sweet boy too, I can only imagine how worried you must be.

How is he doing right now? Any further news on treatment or surgery?

My thoughts are with you and the little guy..:please:

I’m waiting on the vet, he’s speaking with his associates about this...they took the sample from his elbow and wrist and it came back clean....so I opted for heavier antibiotics that I’ll I have to inject. Two weeks or so from that more X-rays and if there’s no definitive progression we are just going to move with amputation

Well, that is actually very encouraging news, at least not the dreaded cancer.

I think its prudent to give stronger antibiotics one more good try and see where that leads to. If he does end up getting an amputation, 4 legged animals tend to do quite well with that. And if his leg is still painful and useless, it will be a relief for him.

I'll be praying and hoping it can be fixed with the meds. And its amazing how well you are taking care of him, and give him every chance.
