    Is this a parasitic mite? (Ophionyssus sp.)
    Hello Friends,

    Can you please help me?

    These little demons are running on my super pastel champagne. I haven't seen any attached to her and they are very mobile. Are they the parasitic species or something else as she is kept in a naturalistic set-up.

    I also have tarantulas at home so I really do not want to go to the chemical route, if they are harmless.

    Are there a lot of them? It almost looks like a tick to me but I don't know much about mites or ticks on snakes. Make sure to check on the head, near the eyes and nose.

    Hi,

    Those are macro photos and the bugs are really tiny, barely visible so they aren't ticks. There are quite a few of them walking around but I haven't seen any attached near the eye or in the pits etc. They are also not really black but more yellow.
