whether you prefer to call it toxic saliva or mild venom or whatever (all the caresheets say a different thing) I am curious as to if someone allergic to bees could have a dangerous reaction to hognose saliva. I know they have to chew to release it but lets say worst case scenario my girlfriend (who is allergic to bee stings quite badly) gets her finger nawed for some odd reason - is there any way serious complications would arise? How can I check this out? Any help or advice would be awesome! I know the venom or saliva is very very mild (less so than bee stings) but how could I find out if this could be an issue?
