Re: You must see this "Albino Chrondro"
Very cool! I don't think I've seen an albino before. Does their color change as they mature like normals?
Re: You must see this "Albino Chrondro"
as cool as it looks, im sorry to be the bad guy here, but i think it could be a fake.
Re: You must see this "Albino Chrondro"
I don't think its fake because I have seen high resolution photos of albino GTP's and they look like that. ;) I believe this year the hets from the pairings in th US are for sale for something like $12,000 each or something like that. lol

I love chondros! I wish I had the knowledge(and money) to keep and breed them.
Ahh... ...One day!
I would love to see more adult pictures of them to get a true representation of what they look like as adults. The March '08 Reptiles Mag issue with them on it really sparked my interest that much more!
Beautiful animal!
Thanks for sharing!

Yes Last 5 years ago i saw an Albino at Damon Salceies website but don't see anymore. So this guy is a wild caught. I saw him as he is a baby he look like maroon but in that time i don't have a money to get him. Now he's still yellow ,had red pupils and already producing sperm plug.
" T " my friend he always had an amazing collection like this!!!!!!! :O

Not too hard to keep really as long as the husbandry requirements are met! Its a breeze.

A few of mine:

I agree with Judd, they're not too hard to keep. They're less forgiving of husbandry errors, but the husbandry requirements aren't rocket science or anything.
Breeding is another matter. Good breeders have bad seasons with nothing to show for their efforts. Adults don't keep cranking out clutches year after year and don't always live long after breeding. Check out Greg Maxwell's site, look at his collection of blue chondros, check out the bios on each snake and you'll see most of them aren't among the living anymore. And Greg is one of the best.
I haven't bred any yet. My female needs until the 2010 season before I can begin. Based on conversations with successful breeders, my chances for success with just one female are low.
