Ideal american bullfrog home
I have a female american bullfrog about 2.5" long in the crouched position. shes currently being held in a 5.5 half filled with soil with a 16 oz tub of water. I know its time to now upgrade her. I have an empty 29 I can use what would be the ideal way to set it up? also what would be the best lighting for the set up.

A pond is about the only thing I would consider good enough for a bullfrog. A 29 is not that big in the first place. A 75 would be minimum for what you'd want. Or find a stock tank at a tractor supply and make a nice big habitat.

I agree. Bullfrogs are not the ideal 'pet' frog. If you do want to keep one, I say go with the stock tank idea. It would give you steep sides for water and provide enough room for most movement.
Also, I think I recall reading an article that discussed the fact that adult bull frogs will jump into the glass and injure themselves when housed in aquariums.

ya i sort of fell into this pet, i bought a tadpole from the lfs i work at and my boss assured me that it was only a leopard frog. well this is no leopard frog so im trying to house it the best i am able to.

Your guys thoughts on letting her go in my backyard stream? shes eating live so I think shed be alright in the wild. Shes terrified of me so I know shed shy away from predators.
