    Ideal american bullfrog home
I have a female american bullfrog about 2.5" long in the crouched position. shes currently being held in a 5.5 half filled with soil with a 16 oz tub of water. I know its time to now upgrade her. I have an empty 29 I can use what would be the ideal way to set it up? also what would be the best lighting for the set up.

A pond is about the only thing I would consider good enough for a bullfrog. A 29 is not that big in the first place. A 75 would be minimum for what you'd want. Or find a stock tank at a tractor supply and make a nice big habitat.

I agree. Bullfrogs are not the ideal 'pet' frog. If you do want to keep one, I say go with the stock tank idea. It would give you steep sides for water and provide enough room for most movement.

Also, I think I recall reading an article that discussed the fact that adult bull frogs will jump into the glass and injure themselves when housed in aquariums.

Bullfrogs will quickly outgrow tanks. i raised one from a tadpole years ago, and the most humane thing we could do when she got near adult size was to donate her to a nature center, where they housed her in a pond.
Bullfrogs do not do well in captivity like other frogs; they will rub their noses raw on a screen lid, try to go through glass, and can get out of a stock tank easily.
Horned frogs; they do fine in a 10g tank for life. I keep mine in an equivelantly-sized tub/lid, because it retains humidity beautifully.
