Spring flowers
-
I see your Spring is much more advanced than mine here in New England!
Right now we have only the earliest bloomers and most of our trees don't even have leaves yet!
Looks gorgeous though! Love the stringy looking purple ones (2nd from bottom).

That purple one is a perennial corn flower

Right!?!?? I'm just starting to see some of my perennials poke through the soil.
My trees are still bare. It's been chilly lately, but the on again/off again rain is helping. My lawn needs mowing.

Re: Spring flowers
Thanks everyone.
We had one of the warmest Aprils since records began so all the trees and flowers have burst early this year, we didn't have much rain at all in April, which is really unusual for the uk

What is your average yearly rainfall there? We've had a wet year here so far...we've already had half of our average yearly total, with a lot of rain coming tonight
& in the coming days. I've been busy in my yard lately, getting everything mowed & trimmed...I love my rechargeable-battery (Neuton) mowers, but they don't do
very well in wet grass.

I’m over here in Chicago (cook county). We had a couple of beautiful days, was fortunate enough even to enjoy a bike ride. It hit low 70’s. I thought spring was here ....then the last two weekends it snows. Lmao
