    one of 2 bunnies got lucky
    actually bot bunnies weer spared from getting mowed over the one bolt from hiding area and theother I picked up out of the nest. and snapped this pic with my cell before releasing it.

    In the past I grab these little guys for snake food for the boa and to help reduce their numbers in some spots cause they were so many.. I watch entire gardens be destoried cause ther so many of them in town were my grandmother lives.

    just a question: Do you ever test your boa for parasites after feeding him wild caught prey? It's quite likely that the bunnies may harbor something that may also see your boa as a suitable body to infest.

    Pest control is a great thing :)

    well i did co2 them and freeze a couple weeks first befoer i fed to the boa , she seemed to be in shed most the tiem I caught them.

    Most wild rabbits carry worms during warm months. Why most hunting seasons dont open till cold months arrive.

    Id still get some flagyl or panacur in the boa for precautions.

    awww :( i rehabilitate these babies....last year i saved 13 :D actually just rescued one last week too :)
