Looking for rats in Washington D.C.
Hey guys, I'm going to be moving up to Washington D.C. (haven't picked a place out yet but I'm leaning towards east DC near Upper Marlboro) and I'm going to need some weekly bulk orders of rats.

Does anybody know anyone in that area that breeds rats and would have approx. 25-30 rats a week to sell? I'm trying to find somewhere fairly local since I'll need to pick up weekly. If anyone could help me out I would greatly appreciated it, I pretty bummed the Navy is transferring me from my place right now which is only 10min from a big rat warehouse:(

I'm in Stafford, VA about 45 minutes south of DC. I've been getting rats from Jon at Cold Blooded Addiction. They are far nicer than anything I've ever gotten online. I swear I think he sends them to the groomer before packaging them...he's in Fredericksburg so it would be about an hour to hour and a half from DC...

Where are you getting stationed? I'm at the CG HQ building in DC....:)

I have heard nothing but good things about Jon and his rats, however I should have mentioned I'm looking for live rats><

I'm going to be stationed at the Office of Naval Intelligence over in Suitland. Finally got some shore duty:D How do you like working in DC? I'd imagine the traffic is pretty bad up there.

Yeah traffic up this way sucks depending on where you need to be in D.C. and at what time you need to be there:rage:

As for Live Rats, we have monthly shows in Harve De Grace Maryland, and Manassas Virginia where you can get just about any kind and any size you need.

I live in Stafford and worked in Suitland for 4 years...I remember a few days where my commute home was pushing 4 hours...this was during the Wilson Bridge construction...I once saw a bumper sticker that said "Welcome to Virginia, Expect delays"...how true...:rage:
