Enclosure height for an adult ATB
I search the internet for an answer for this question: How high should be the enclosure for an adult ATB. What i found is almost 50-50 divided opinions. The first half will say height is not that important and these snakes climb horizontally. Floor space is more important. The other half are saying for arboreal snakes height is very important. What are your experiences, which one is right? And how high the enclosure for an adult ATB should be?
Enclosure height for an adult ATB
If I had an ATB I would offer it all of the height that I could afford to give it.
This is what I have my Jungle Carpet in and she uses every bit of it.

I'm not saying your snake needs 4 feet in height, just what you can offer.

I have had relatively little experience with tree boas. I generally try to find how a snake behaves in the wild. See this link:
http://animaldiversity.org/accounts/...us_hortulanus/. That says "Most Corallus hortulanus specimens studied are found 1 to 2 m or more above the ground in trees or other vegetation. They have also been observed active on the ground." For what it's worth, here's my opinion--the cage should be between 1.5 and 7 feet high with at least one branch to climb on.

And this is the enclosure after it is finished. By the way, the light in the photo is only a reflection from the outside. There is no light inside the enclosure
