OT but I figured you all might like to see this (Komodo Illustration)

Seeing as this is where I have been spending most of my time soaking up all the help and info I could I figured I would post this here. If it gets moved so be it. This is an illustration that I did a around 10 years back in a bid to get a double page spread promoting a mini series on the Indonesian Islands. The original illustration is about 3' wide from tip of the nose to the back of the neck. It was done in stipple (bunch of dots) using pen and ink. After the pen and ink was done I just used a light wash to add in a little color.

I will be working on a BP illustration for Kara at NERD shortly just as a thank you for helping me out and being so cool and patient with me over the past few weeks getting everything setup.

Excuse the flash on this photo. It's a photo of a print on glossy paper, my scanner is not working so this was my only option. :rolleyes:

that's incredible, and in stippling? talk about time consuming, but thats for sharing it's very impressive
