[HOW-TO] Calendar Feature

One of our goals for this site is to use the calendar feature to list herp shows. Because we pretty have to enter each date individually, it takes a good deal of time. If any of you would like to help us by adding shows to the calendar, feel free to do so. Anyone can add dates to the calendar.

That is a great idea. Leveraging resources is the "in" thing these days lol. I would be happy to help, I only ask for a brief tutorial on how to do this since I'm just a newb here. Thanks.

It's pretty easy. Go to the calendar. Click on "Add New Event," and the rest is pretty much like creating a new thread.

There is an area for extra information too or a link to the show for further information on times and admission fees, etc. I just put one in for April that I added in the comments section that it's "exhibition only - no live sales".

Working through my favorites list to plug as many events/shows in as I can when I have a few minutes spare time.

You guys are awesome. If you want you can use tags to make the hershow's webpage linked. I'll go in and edit a few if you like.

I added the 2006 IRBA shows for San Diego and Pomona. =)

JLC stole my thunder and added the Florida Reptile and Alternative Pet Show dates. I believe that Ben Siegel still frequents these. Good guy and nice snakes!
