Re: Live Feeding Questions
I have had my BP for 2-3 years now and she’s always had live. I take her out completely and put her in a separate cardboard box and wait until she fully swallows it and then I put her back into her tank!
Re: Live Feeding Questions
It is best to wait until the snake is in 'hunting' mode - sticking its head out of a hide or cave in the evening. If not, you can drop the mouse in and STAY with the snake. The smell can entice the snake out. Never leave the rodent alone with the snake.

I’ve heard that you shouldn’t move to feed them because it can cause regurg and that enclosure aggression is a myth and it’s more stressful on the animal to move to feed rather than just feeding in its enclosure

this is what I usually do but sometimes he comes out so late that I’m sleep by the time he is giving me signs 😭 I have to be up at 4am so I go to bed rather early and was tryna see if it was other ways to feed him
Re: Live Feeding Questions
I’ve never had issues , she’s never regurgitated it, I never EVER leave her unattended, been doing it for 3 years, I take her out whenever and as soon as she smells it she’s awake and a lot of times takes it right out of my hand before I can even drop the rat in the box!
