NEW RULES for using our Free Advertising privileges!

Due to the increasingly destructive nature of our advertising venues, we are implementing this new rule set. While it bothers us greatly that a few individuals would take advantage of our free ad space...we do not wish to punish the entire membership by taking away an otherwise valuable resource.

In a nutshell, the new rules boil down to this:

No single person may have more than 15 ads posted in any 12 month span. If you can go backward from today for 12 months, and find 15+ ads, then you are "done" placing ads until those earliest ones scroll off the 12-month list.

Also...no more constant bumping of ANY ads. Members not placing the ad will NOT be allowed to comment in the threads. The person placing the ad will be allowed TWO posts total to add to it...to be used however they wish for adding information or providing a "strategic bump." Anything beyond those two additional posts will be deleted and the thread locked.

I'll be making a duplicate thread to this one for the For Sale forum, but it will be locked. Any questions or comments members wish to make can be made here in the Site Info thread or in PMs. But our decision is made. Do not expect us to change our minds simply because this new policy may make a few individuals unhappy.

The discussion has been informative, and probably entertaining for some...but we believe that it has reached the point of dimishing returns. However, far be it from us to deprive anyone of the chance to get in the last word :P so please, if you wish...carry on here:
