So when are you getting one? Comeon, I need a partner on this journey, LOL !!!

Well, so many loose their tails at one time or another, so it will probably happen one day. I will be so sad..:tears:

and a bit freaked out, the way those tails keep moving once off, freakkyyyy :O

I just wish I didn't have that shed to deal with, I rather not mess with him right away, but I know stuck shed should come off! If I hold on to him to pick it off, he might loose his tail :tears:

He did have some on his toes, but that seemed to come off in the deli cup during shipping and a tiny piece I held my thumb on as he walked and jumped and it came off.

Right now he is chilling in the same corner he started out with, poor thing probably had a awful and scary night. Now everything is new, new home, new sounds and that big face staring at him every so often :D

Well, wouldn't you know it. He already ate! He spent up to now in a corner of his little cage and finally got brave enough to move a bit. He found the ledge and after thinking about it for a minute and looking around..he dipped his little face into to the dish and ate.

I tried to lift my phone and get a picture without disturbing him. But it's dark and you can just see his outline on the ledge. Plus he must have sensed me and just looked up at me. As soon as I put the phone down he put his head into the dish again and ate a bunch more

The food he went for was the repashy with bugs. Which smelled the least appealing to me. He is still on the ledge and watching me with his huge eyes. Even though it's dark and I hardly move. He knows. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...a238698b6f.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...b1234f3e88.jpg[emoji4]

He probably will end up being a picky one. Thanks to ME. LOL

Should I even bother to offer water in a dish? He has a double dish feeder on the bottom and a single one on a ledge up higher. Or should I put 3 different kinds of food in those ??

I just thought of something else, I read you should mist in the evening. But should I mist in the morning since he will arrive from a long journey and might be looking for water or be dried out a bit?

Yes, provide a water dish. I think it is always wise to have water available in a dish. There will not always be water droplets available from misting (and if there are you are keeping it way too wet) and you want them to be able to drink as much as they want, whenever they want. And they shouldn't have to work for it by chasing droplets around. I usually mist at night, but I really don't think it matters that much if you are offering a water dish.

Offer one type of food at a time. You don't need to give him multiple choices all at once--they don't eat enough in one day to need choices. I would stick with one flavor for a few weeks at a time and see how it goes. If he isn't eating much, try something else. You should be able to tell a difference in consumption if he has a preference. Some geckos eat all the flavors, some have favorites. But don't switch it up every day or you are going to complicate things and make a picky monster. :P
