Thanks zig! Yea I hear they are as fierce as they come during feeding time. I look forward to seeing that. He’s been eating small ft rats and bigger mice. Do you suggest one over the other?

I didn’t receive him yet but I committed to him a few weeks ago. Between the temps in Cali where he is and here in NY I have to wait a few more weeks !!!

If he eats rats and mice I'd offer both. My kings were very consistent eaters when it came to mice and chicks. They were hit or miss with rats. Thats a great thing about snakes that don't get too big. You don't have to worry about transitioning them to rats. Kings can do just fine on mice their entire lives but I think they bulk up more on rats.

He is absolutely gorgeous! Congratulations on adding one of your dream snakes! :)
