Possible Anerythristic Southern Alligator Lizard
So I was raking outside when uncovered what I think is an anerythristic southern alligator lizard. At first I thought it could be melanistic but after I looked at this website http://www.californiaherps.com/lizar....m.webbii.html I realized it looked like the possible anerythristic lizard displayed. What do you all think?

Re: Possible Anerythristic Southern Alligator Lizard
Well 66 views and no replies, I am guessing people haven't seen an alligator lizard like this before. Anyone got any name ideas? I am guessing it's a girl by the head shape.
Re: Possible Anerythristic Southern Alligator Lizard
I am not sure I've even ever seen an Alligator Lizard period. :).
Neat looking critter. Not sure on name though.

I'll get some pics of my other two today that way you can see the difference.
Re: Possible Anerythristic Southern Alligator Lizard
They are super cool lizards! Super intelligent, colorful, and small, what more could you ask for (except picking up after themselves:rofl:). I feed the ones I have a very diverse diet and the best ting is they aren't picky eaters. They are so food motivated that I've had to target train them so they won't go after my fingers. The ones I have are thriving in captivity and it has been really rewarding to see their less aggressive side once you work with them a bit. Right now I have a big 13" male, a high red backed female, and this newest one (still needs a name). I am going to make a progression thread for them soon so that anyone who wants to can see them as well.

You can call her "Annie". :D
