    Questions for OH Sumatran breeders
I’m looking to breed my OH sumatrans in the future when my male is up to size. Right now he is about 1.5 YO and about 2.25 pounds. My female is about 2.5yo and about 8 pounds and 50-52” long.
With lots of looking I can find talk of most short tails needing to be >10# and males can be a bit smaller but still comparable in size to the female. But OH sumatrans are known to be smaller than the others. So what’s a good size to be breeding these girls at? And what’s a typical clutch size. Before pairing I want to make sure it won’t be huge clutches to deal with and try to find homes for. I’d imagine that being the smaller species it would be smaller clutch size than the others.

I appreciate any input form those with experience with orange heads.
