Humidity question

What humidity does everyone recommend for a jungle carpet python? I’ve done a lot of research but this is one thing I can’t get a solid answer on. Every website says something different and I’ve seen as low as 40% and as much as 80% both recommended.

I only mist mine in shed. My snake room is usually 40-60% and his cage has a screen top that I have not covered. He has great sheds.

When I do mist it's not daily, or much, like I do my ETB and GTP.

I don’t worry about humidity with my carpets, or any of my snakes really. Sometimes I’ll mist their enclosures just to “make it rain” but that’s about it. I’ve also dumped a bowl of water into the substrate at times when I see an animal prepping to shed. My humidity ranges from 30-70% depending on the season. As long as your snake is properly hydrated it should shed just fine. None of my snakes have ever had a RI either. Carpets are pretty hardy critters. Give them a hide, some heat, a clean enclosure, and some fresh food and water, and you’re good to go!

Thank you both! Most of my other snakes are kept at 40-50% in their PVC cages so it should be pretty simple for the new snake.
