Important enclosure question
Well not that important but for real, my yellow Annie loves his water! He spends half the day in it and the other half getting in and out, which makes the newspaper very wet, and I have to change it every few days, now this is not a big deal, but I was wondering if anyone else had this issue, obviously I do not mind I chose to keep such a snake, but when he is the fastest of all my snakes and when I have to change the newspaper and water I can't set him down and it's kinda difficult do with him crawling all over my arm. He still has yet to bite me but I'm still not ready to let him near my face for obvious reasons!
Also when he gets it really wet if I don't notice it sometimes the humidity gets in the 90's and his enclosure gets condensation on the sides for a few hrs, so this is really this issue I'm concerned with!
Re: Important enclosure question
As suggested by AkHerps, I would get a tub (with a lid) to hold your annie while you do enclosure maintenance. I would also recommend you feed him/her in this tub as well. Makes for no worries of the "door opens - in comes food" scenarios and lets your annie learn you are not the food.
Works for me.
