    That’s interesting. I wonder if my cypress bedding is any good for them to partially burrow themselves I know it holds in moisture/humidity extremely well but I haven’t seen him do any burrowing thus far. What bedding do you use or recommend?

    I used that for years and they will burrow in it occasionally. It's not something they do as often as colubrids or anything, but they will sometimes. I swapped to coco blox recently and am pretty happy with that, I feel like it does a better job with the humidity than the cypress but not by a huge margin. Both are pretty good at mold resistance.
