    Oscar and Opal
My baby hog island boas have had 3 consecutive meals in them so I figured I'd get some pics and do and actual introduction. I purchased them from Grady Calhoun and he was an awesome guy to deal with. From what I understand he isn't on MM and doesn't have a website, strictly word of mouth thru FB. So check him out if you get a chance.

And now for the boas. The first two pictures are Opal the female. She's been nothing but a sweetheart since I've had her. Very inquisitive and gentle mannered. Then there's Oscar. He's the second two pictures. He's funny to me because he's so tiny but has a huge attitude! He's very "cage aggressive" and will hiss louder than an adult snake to let you know that but once you get him out he's completely fine. I actually used his cage aggression to my advantage. The breeder said he's only eaten live since he's been born and will refuse f/t. Well while feeding one day he opened his mouth wide and hissed his tail off so I seized the moment. I put the f/t prey in his mouth while he was yelling at me and he had no choice but to eat it once he got a good taste of it and hasn't refused a meal since.

Anyway here they are. Sorry for the bad lighting but the only good room I have for taking good lighting pictures is in the actual snake room and since they're still in quarantine I didn't want to take them in there. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...dd5eb32d34.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...63a1538fb6.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...9bb763aaf8.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...33debfc275.jpg

Looking good. Happy they ate happily, or maybe unhappily at first :), for you. You should be golden now.

Keep us posted on their progression.

Thought I'd throw out an update here. They finally had their first shed with me about a week apart so they're both doing super good. The first picture is of them both together. The second one is Opal and she is the sweetest little thing. She won't take anything off the tongs but if I let her know it's there and then leave it with her she'll eat it as soon as the lights go out. And the third picture is Oscar. He takes it right off the tongs and does so happily. He hisses so loud when I open his tub you can hear it 2 rooms away! But as soon as he's out he's a placid little guy. They're both doing great and I couldn't be happier with them. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...7bdc347a9c.jpg
