I'm a pitbull owner (since 2014) and now a snake owner. I get alllllll sorts of comments. I'm a new herper, but my boyfriend and I have done (and still do) a LOT of research so when people start asking dumb questions, I go the route of education. Snakes are only "ewwww" when you don't know any different/better.
