    Used enclosures for sale?
Hey y'all, I've been a lurker for a while and this is my first post! I've gotten a lot of really great information from here and look forward to learning more as a fairly new bp caretaker :)

Cutting to the chase: I'm planning on transferring my 2.5 y/o female banana ball from a (covered) screen-glass enclosure to a larger, vision cage-like PVC enclosure (Animal Plastics T8 is one I've been observing for a while). I've always wondered if there was a specific site on the web where people sold enclosures like these other than places like eBay, Amazon, Craigslist, etc? I'm on a budget and hoping to acquire something without spending a fortune on it, then shipping it, then heating it, lighting it, etc. Specifically if anyone knew someone selling something in the Chicagoland area, that would be super helpful!

This is all probably too good to be true, but I figured it'd be worth an ask anyways!

Also Facebook in the reptile groups for a specific geographic area or state.

Sanitize the heck out of it after you buy it.

    ^^^^Absolutely!!!! Couldn't agree more ^^^^

I've had decent luck with Craigslist, better than anywhere else.

I always see a lot of stuff on Facebook Marketplace. Just have to weed out the bad value stuff.

I lurk Craigslist and the Facebook marketplace a LOT for pet supplies and live animals. Very nice finds if you keep a sharp eye out! Outside of those, you could go thrift shopping or post on your regular Facebook feed. One of your friends may have something lying around that they'd never think of otherwise! I just got a nice 55 gal for free from a friend after posting that I was looking for one. You never know!

Just make sure to sanitize whatever you find!

    Good luck!! :P

Agreed with the above! I’ve had excellent luck with both Facebook Marketplace and Craig’s List. I just picked up a Vision 433 a couple months ago for under $300!
