    Shipping within the EU
Hi, I have a pet ball python which I bought in Malta a year ago, now I'm moving to the Republic of Ireland and I'd like to take it with me.

Contrary to what I expected, the airlines that allow reptiles in passenger flights are very few–none that I can fly with. So it seems like my only option is to send it with an airfreight company that transports animals, which there are only two of in Malta.

I contacted both of them, and one hasn't replied yet, but the other one gave me a quote for over 600€, which is just crazy.

Is there no other way to transport reptiles between two EU countries?

I know that in the USA they can be shipped with UPS and FedEx, but I haven't been able to find any information about it for Europe.

I'd really appreciate any pointers. Thanks in advance.

(I know there's a similar thread here from a few years ago, but the question wasn't really answered.)
