    Spot concerns
I noticed 2 spots on my BP's (Wadjet) belly today. Just want to get your thoughts. Possible scale rot? I haven't seen any abrasions on her before. The substrate isn't wet so I'm stumped.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...5fd14c82d7.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...77a8715414.jpg

There is nothing remotely rough or sharp?

looks like a small cut, not sure about the other spot. scale rot happens when there's excessive water on the floor of the enclosure, double-check your husbandry.
do a thorough check of the enclosure for anything that could have caused the cut. since it's on the belly, could it have happened when handling?

I changed all the substrate yesterday just in case but I do that ever 4 to 6 weeks anyways. The new substrate was damper than what I took out. I keep humidity at 50-60%, have bumped it cause she's going into shed. I'm hoping it clears up at the end of the cycle. I mostly put her on my bed when I bring her out so she's on blankets, the cut is just odd to me. Maybe I'm over reacting. Just want to keep her healthy.

i'd just wait for the shed and see what the areas look like afterwards. nothing here looks too concerning, so i'm sure it's fine. :)
