Two recent additions: Japanese rat snakes
The first is a 2017 male kunashir island Japanese rat snake. I won him in an auction at southeast carpetfest. Auction proceeds went towards Nido research.

Second is a 2020 female mainland Japanese rat snake. She is het amel.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...2668c2dbb2.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...a2c9bc64be.jpg

Wow, very cool & congrats on the win, too. :gj: I loves my rat snakes, & there's many kinds to love too. :snake:
And good on you for helping support Nido research too, btw.

These things are pretty cool. They are like an old world version of a bairds rat with their metallic sheen. They also like slightly cooler temps compared to a corn.

On top of winning the auction item (and several others) we also donated an item. I think in total they brought in 30k for research. It's a worthy cause to hopefully help the community.

Beautiful snakes! I love the first one. It looks like it is made of bronze or gold.
