    Ball Python has unusal scales need help to know what the problem is
    So I noticed on my snake that near his head he has some scales that are protruding weirdly from his body. Images below

    His color also seems to change as you get closer to his head I dont think its a issue but just in case heres a image.

    Just looks like bent scales. They happen when they sit curled up in one spot too long, like the wrinkles you get from crumpled sheets overnight, or sometimes from squeezing through a tight spot. Harmless.

    Color variation looks normal to me, especially for a banana. Most I see tend to have a bit darker coloring near the head and neck. My banana does.

    Yup...bent scales are the snake-equivalent of a "bad hair day". :) Much like the creases in your elbows, fingers & elsewhere...if we were covered with scales,
    the same thing would happen.
