Superworms not breeding

I've been attempting to breed superworms. I have quite a few beetles and I have yet to see any baby worms. I keep them at room temperature on a bedding of oats. They get carrots for moisture. They have been beetles now for about a month or more and still no little worms. Anything im doing wrong or should improve?

Only difference is I use potatoes.

I had best success with zophobas when I'd rotate the beetles every couple of weeks into a new container. This is useful in that you'll have similar sized worms in each bin. It also helps prevent the beetles from messing with eggs/larvae. It could sometimes take a couple weeks after rotating beetles out before larvae were large enough for me to notice them.

I was thinking of setting up a drawer system and putting the beetles in the top drawer. The top drawer would have mesh on the bottom so eggs and new worms would fall into the drawer below. Think this might help?

That drawer method has been done before. The first month you won't see much. They won't lay the first 2 weeks of life as a beetle, then another 2 to hatch. Then they're so small you'd be lucky to see anything...
