Oooh, I like this deeper version- does he go back & forth, or is this coloration here to stay?

His coloration has changed slightly over time. A little less "glowy" and a little richer (if you look at him at 100-200G vs. now). The lighting really dictates how he looks at the moment though more than anything. So far, I haven't seen him really have "light" and "dark" phases the way Behira (Ghost BI) can. She can make her head (at least) tan to almost jet black, and everything in between.

The biggest change over time with the Jeff though is the number of "speckles!" WOW! He's really getting a ton now, especially around the tail area. So cool to see that on an albino/sunglow, some black coming through. His greyish/blue eyes rock too. Got to love the VPI +/T+ albino gene. Of course, I have to give some credit to BoaKings, who bred him. His colors really "pop!" I've seen sun glow VPI+ animals that are not as bright and rich as Jeff is. The motley and jungle genes probably make a difference too.

Jeff is doing well. I am working on handling him a little more often - 2-3X a week vs. 1-2X as he's still a little more "nervous" being handled than either Behira or Feliz (the two other Boas). I am sure he will continue to mellow out as puts on size as well. Still under 800G.

He's hardly defensive, and they all have their own personalities, but I want to see what a little more handling does.

In the meantime, he's looking fantastic. Still glows and keep speckling up.

I think some extra handling is going to pay off- some snakes take longer than others to mellow out. And it doesn't strike me as too much "torture" for you either. :D
