Local City Laws and how to get them changed
    Good Morning everyone,

My local city has it on the books that a pet is only considered to be a domesticated animal. All other animals are not considered pets. Meaning if my neighbor has a beef with me that I could have my snakes taken from me and possibly fined. I call the city hall and asked about reptiles when i first moved in and they said as long as no one reports you don't worry about it. Obviously I didn't give my name and called from a company phone. I want to address this issue with my local city law makers in writing but I don't know how to start. Does any one have some links of information or example letters that worked to get the ball rolling for other people in the same situation.

    Thanks in advance
