Is it normal for my BP to basically not come out of his hide for a few days while in the shedding process? Haven’t seen him come out at all even for water.

Perfectly normal. They feel vulnerable in that state and do not like to be messed with. Give it a little time. He may be sneaking out for water at night.

Yep! When they go 'blue eyed' their vision is somewhat obstructed or blurred / they're partially blind because of the build up of fluid between the layers, so they feel more vulnerable and will be more comfortable just hiding away throughout the process. So no cause for concern really, they'll do what they need to do when they're ready.

Mr. Misha
I usually know that one is in shed if I don't see them come out at night.
All of mine like to cruise their enclosures in late evening without fail. So if I don't see one, it's most likely shed time!

Yep, totally normal. My girl went blue 4 days ago and I haven't seen her since, except when I check on her. She's been under her water dish this whole time. They can't see well, they feel gross, it's completely understandable that they feel vulnerable so they want to hide.
I'm about to offer her some food, but I'm expecting it to be refused. Luckily my baby ball Tonks is a little savage, so she'll eat it if Ana Gwyn won't!
