Anyone have experience with Inkbird itc-306T Thermostat?
I've been looking at thermostats for a while now. where I live, we don't have many Reptile-brand thermostats, the ones we do have, are badly reviewed.

I found this thermostat, it's an on/off and has 2 ports.
    https://www.amazon.de/Inkbird-Stecke...rds=thermostat

Has anyone have had experience with this? Is it any good?

will it operate as it is intended? yes. however, you get what you pay for: these types of cheap electronics aren't meant for longevity, and the longer they're used the more likely they are to fail.

i like to consider these cheaper thermostats as "placeholders" until you can save up to afford a more reliable (read: expensive) thermostat, e.g. VE or Herpstat.

i have a Jumpstart thermostat (essentially the same thing as this Inkbird; a cheap thermostat) that's been running with no issues for 3+ years, but i never allowed it the chance to fail on me as i replaced them as soon as i could (i still keep it just in case, but it is not in daily use).

    Thanks for the fast answer,
as stated, we sadly dont have many good brands here, i've tried searching for the thermostats that people have suggested like Herpstat etc., and I can't seem to find them anywhere here, not even online.
However we have the Exo Terra Thermostats, the 600w being at around 60€.
Are the Exo Terra therms any good? I havent found many reviews on them yet.

same story as the Inkbird. have you looked at the Herpstat website to make a purchase there? what country are you in, if you don't mind me asking?

I live in Germany. I don't really trust buying expensive things from over seas, because of past problems. (my brother once bought a 200$ bag and he had to pay 200$ extra to customs)

But I can look into it.

i totally get it. there's quite a few forum members from europe who use Herpstats, so maybe they can help you locate one or something similar (i'm from USA).

Where do you live? I know the UK guys have nice thermostats. Can't vouch for them, but I've seen these two on high end setups:

I will look into it, thanks for the help though! I think for the time being I'll use the Inkbird

I live in Germany, I think I might've seen the bottom one but I can't remember anymore.

The biggest issue with an on-off thermostat, aside from how widely the temperature can vary when it turns on/off, is whether it fails full-on or whether it turns itself off if the thermostat stops working. Some go completely on, others don't. You want one that turns off if it fails so your snake doesn't end up burned.
