Is this an acceptable condition for frozen mice?
I tried ordering frozen mice from a different place because it was cheaper, took around 24hr to deliver (SEA, no frozen rat seller in my province). The packaging was thick plastic bag material with newspapers that are already quite wet, and 2 ice packs (frozen water in plastic bag) that already turned to water. It was the bloodiest frozen rat I've ever seen. All of them were bloody on at least half of their body, and some of it has turned brown and blackish. Opened it and it smelled bad, but not bad enough to be smelled from 1m away. It was different from urine or normal bad rodent smell, but I cannot confirm that it was rot. The seller told me that it's fine to be fed to snakes. I don't really know though.
