Sable’s Outdoor Photo Op

The weather was nice so I popped outside for a few minutes to get pictures of Sable in natural light. Some aren’t the best angle for the lighting and I need to repaint my nails, but it was an impromptu shoot so whatever!

I don’t quite trust putting her on the rail or one of my tables for full-body photos yet (I live on the third floor, very nerve-wracking).

(And I hope nobody minds if I sneak in a colubrid... Saturn doesn’t cooperate very well for photoshoots, so I really only liked how her close-up came out and it doesn’t need its own thread.)

And don't be afraid to share your colubrids!! Just because it's BP.net doesn't mean we don't love all species and all herps. I'm a colubrid fan and have a Call King and a Hognose. So please don't be shy with your colubrids.

Thanks for sharing! And colubrids rock too! (that's mostly what I keep now) I agree, don't put your snakes on a railing that's 3 (or even 2) stories up! :O

Dont worry about high megapixels on an dslr. Unless u want to be a pro. I have a Nikon with a few different lenses and I love it. It was like $600 new but u can buy them used for like 3-400 now
