i clicked Advanced and it said something about my clock? could it be DSL-related?

I got the same thing this morning and chalked itnup to it being just me. Thanks for posting. Hopefully we can get some clarification.

It's the site, it's a security issue where the website starts http:// instead of https:// and a lot of programs will block access and give you those error messages.
Looks like it's been fixed now.

It wasn't just you...it actually started late last night, & I got a message saying my computer had the wrong time (but it didn't), wanting me to fix (what
wasn't wrong) & that the connection was not secure. Maybe an issue with the security certificate but now appears fixed...I emailed Melinda (bcr229) &
she got a hold of Deb...& later this morning we're BACK!

Hooray! & thank you forum admins! :D

It was just the ssl certificate that had expired the day before, nothing serious, when Melinda contacted me I was actually in the middle of contacting Emily to make her aware of the issue.

Just a little inconvenience but everything is back in order.

I've seen a similar thing on another forum whose security certificate never got fixed that died a slow & painful death, with some checking back but no one
feeling safe about posting, & new would-be members scared off by a huge red warning page. Very sad & not something I want to see happen here, that's
for sure, so I was concerned. We are fortunate that our "forum angels" were on top of this. :gj:

Sorry about that everyone. The security message that everyone got looked big and scary but it really wasn't a big deal. Tech support is doing some major server upgrades behind the scenes right now and so I overlooked the message about the SSL certificate expiration thinking it was something else that they were doing. That's my bad. :)
