Growing out ASF

Hi,

I keep my ASF's in lab style cages but I would like to use my rack for the larger grow outs. My tubs in rack are quite tall and I dont think that ASF's will reach the food. Which option would be better: a food hopper or maybe making a small ramp where the food is? It would be a lot easier to build a ramp but knowing how they love to chew I am not sure what materials to use. Anyone had similar problem?

Wire hopper fast an cheap. Might cost you $5 to make at most.

What about water? They would not be able to get to the nozzle :/

Longer nozzle or use water bottles. My lab cages are made for water bottles. They sit on top. Post a pic of your setup so we can get an idea of what your working with.

Worse case you buy a bottle that fits in the tub an use wire to hang it.
