    First Two Out (SS and Specter)
    First clutch of the season hatched and these were the first two out. Just some quick phone pics, but I'll post better ones after they all shed.

    Big congrats! That's a beautiful SS with perfect stripe.

    Just curious, what makes you think the other one is a Specter? To me it looks too dark to be a Specter. I can only see part of the tail, but looks like it may not have the long stripe at the end of the tail either. I'm no expert though.

    It will be lighter after the first shed. All of my specters have had the original male's 'specks' on the rear of the head and the belly is also very distinct. My original male was also very dark.

    the head of the specter looks weird when it comes to shape, everything alright? Maybe its just because he is digging his nose into your hand.
