    Ceramic Mushroom?
Found this ceramic mushroom at the dollar store. It's meant for gardens. It's got a glossy finish on its top. Think it would be okay to put in my freshwater tank?

Probably not...I only say this because I have some fancy ceramic dishes that warn you not to leave them soaking for extended time periods...apparently the
glaze may not be entirely trustworthy, then you get crazing & internal saturation. The issue with dishes that become crazed (tiny surface cracks in the glaze)
is that they may contain things (like lead) that you don't want seeping into your food, nor would you want anything toxic in a fish tank. So I'd be cautious.

I'd say you get what you pay for.
