    Finished my ASF rack
Thought that I would share my new ASF and mice rack I finished. Took me a while as I just used my handsaw for all the cuts. It's a 6 tub system though I only have 4 tubs right now with 3 being used. I have two 1.3 colonies of ASFs, one is right around breeding age and the other I just got today as recently weaned. I also have a 1.3 colony of mice that we'll see how it goes.

Here's an example of what the insides look like too. Just a simple setup - a box to hide in, some toilet paper rolls, a block to chew on, food hopper, water bottle and bedding. I'm very excited to start breeding some rodents :P

    Looks fine.

If your short put a step ladder next to it (if you have young kids GET AN A FRAME LADDER or the kids will dump the rack).

I can't tell from the picture. If your tubs have the nail hole put some 1/4 wire over it. Just bend it so you can slide it on the lip. You may want to do that also for the mice, so hoppers can get to the water. Also, a 1x2" strip to keep the tubs from being pushed to far in (otherwise the ASF will invade your house).

Last, traps for any escapes (ASF would F up your house fast).

    GOOD LUCK!
