:rofl: Probably call in reinforcements! :rofl: I think it's safe to assume that the cap wasn't very tight on that bottle, but it's still impressive. So much we underestimate in the animal kingdom.

I wonder if this was accidental- I mean, a one-time only event? Seems highly unlikely they'd have observed & recorded it, if that were the case, so I wonder if bees learn & remember this new skill? I wonder if they've tested them to see if they get better at it or share their skill & teach other bees? I'm sure the aroma of the contents had a lot to do with their motivation too, & maybe thirst also?

Yes, I am not convinced with this one, it could have been chance. Although insects can do facilitating things. More research and duplication of results is needed.
