    Reptile basics cb70 rack
So beyond frustrated. I would rather pay more and get a rack fully assembled. I cannot figure out how to get the heat tape in to recessed slot once you get passed the top shelf. You would have to have arms 3 feet ,long to reach in there to manipulate the tape into place. And does it matter what side is up like the side with the copper strip. I think the instructions suck lol. I finally gave up because I was beyond frustrated.

    HELP!!! PLEASE

**bump** can anyone who has built one of these help me out. I need to get this heat tape in the rack.

If you can either respond on here or PM me I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thank you

I’ve never built one of those racks, but couldn’t you just take the back off and then thread the heat tape through? Also, doesn’t matter which side of the tape faces up. As it snakes through the shelves it will alternate sides with every level

That was my biggest confusion about if it mattered what side of the tape was upright. RBI said it didn't matter do I should be fine.

After finding out that the heat tape can go anyside up - that made world of difference and it went together just fine.
