Complete shed next to 9 month old BP

My 9 month old ball python shed last night and I thought this picture was super cool, showing how long he is :) he’s never still long enough for me to measure his length, but in December he was around 18 inches, now his shed is 26 inches!

    (ignore the messy bed, haha)

    Neat!

Trivia fact: The shed is about ~25% longer than the snake itself (with a high margin of error).

Cool stuff!! But like mentioned above, sheds aren't an accurate measurement of the actual snake.

Oh, I know that. It’s hard for me to measure him since he’s so active, and I’m definitely not going to base anything off a shed length, but I thought it was cool how much he’s grown and I really liked the picture : )

Had some REALLY impressive sheds from my BCI when she got to 7 1/2'...with all the extra stretching the shed skin does, her sheds were huge! :D

I had some "evil thoughts" about leaving them where others would find them & wonder :O as a practical joke...but I didn't do it. ;)
Like under my house, for the next termite inspection... (OK, I'm going "to my room" now...& I do need them to come back again next year.)
