    New Macro Lens!
Well after several macro-less months, I have finally been reunited with a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 lens. I could not be more stoked! Did a couple water drops to test it out- hope you like!

Sounds like a nice lens. I'm probably gunna say screw it to a macro and instead get a f/1.4 lens. Mainly because the type of macro lens I want (35-50mm, extremely close min distance with a wide aperture) doesn't exist for pentax. So I get to choose between a 400$ f/1.4 50mm or a 50mm macro with a 7.4" min distance for 600$. Plus I want to use some of my money for a Herpstat Pro

I love me some Nikons. When I see people with them I cant help but comment and question them about it. They have a major drool factor for me, but I took the Pentax for low cost of the camera and lenses, as well as the built in image stabiliza5tion, which needs to be purchased in the lenses for Nikons, meaning you're forced to swap lenses if you want the function or pay a lot more. But with the stabilizer that Olympus and Pentax offer there is that huge issue of the slower picture time, which is really the major difference between CCD and CMOS sensors. Eh, win some lose some. But the speed of the shutter to the click is actually fairly nice, which is always good, but I've had nothing to compare it to. I guess one of the other major reasons I went with the K10D was because I had a handful of Pentax lenses from my childhood.
