Before and after- baby lovebird hit by car
We found a baby lovebird in the middle of a busy intersection and scooped him up and took him home. He was part of a feral flock of lovebirds that we have all over our city. He was not fully weaned yet so I had to treat his wounds and hand-feed him. He's made a full recovery! He will always have some bald spots but otherwise, he's just a typically feisty little lovebird. We are going to keep him, and have already bought him a palace of a cage. He's also pretty tame and likes to sit on our shoulders and pick at our ears.

He is sure looking great! What a lucky bird that you found him AND did everything to help him thrive. :gj: Gotta say, he's looking pretty cute too!
