I managed to massage 3 more eggs out of the egg bound female. There were no more left in her definitely.
Sadly she passed 4 days later.

That is part of the reason for me saying that perhaps the luck has changed in 2020.

Sorry for your loss, yet another. :tears:

I candled the eggs, 2 are fertile and 1 is not. The infertile one has started to mold, and is sweating a bit. Should I just cut it loose, or leave it in place. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...53a9d3f4a9.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...ece5240df4.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...8128ae8b68.jpg

That question is likely to generate controversy because there are reasons to go either way. Some say that the good eggs are adequately resistant to damage from mold in a bad egg. As these are young eggs, I lean towards cutting the bad egg loose. Take a piece of thread, stretch it between thumb and first finger, and use it as a saw to cut the adhesive between the good egg and the moldy egg. Or use sharp scissors to cut the moldy egg. Let the contents drain and then cut away the moldy egg's shell except for the part adhering to a good egg. Try to avoid turning the good eggs. Good luck.
