    Burmese won’t eat
    Hello,
So I got my first ever baby Burmese python almost 3 weeks ago and he didn’t eat yet. What to do? I had a dumirilli boa that didn’t eat for like an half year, don’t want it to happen with the Burmese...

for the first week I tried (after few days rest) to feed him per killed rat pup and yesterday I tried live fuzzy over night.

The hot size stand on 90 degree at one side and 86 at the other side, the cooler side stand on 76 degree.
(Edit: he like to stay around the 90 degree, at night he goes to the 86)

He doesn’t have a large container though,
    12” length
    10.6” width
    5.5” height

he’s 1 month old, albino male Burmese python.
As the seller said he ate a mouse 3 days before we bought him.
    he does pee a lot.

My female didn't eat for almost two months after we got her as a baby. Her prior owner had really stressed her out (physical abuse) and then of course the move stressed her as well.

Make sure the enclosure is in a very quiet part of the house. If you are using a tank, cover up the sides so she can't see out. If a tub, put a lightweight blanket over it. Also no handling other than a daily check to make sure the snake has clean water and to do any necessary spot cleaning.

I would offer whatever the breeder was feeding. If live mice then offer a fuzzy as dusk and leave it overnight. Yes fuzzies are stupidly small but they won't chew on your snake like an older mouse will, if the snake decides not to eat.

Should I put him in a larger (slightly) tube and put some hiding spot there?
Mor should I keep him for now at the smaller tube?

His tub size sounds fine. Make sure there are lots of hiding places for him.

Not sure how he looks but if he isn’t emaciated I would stick with offering a rat pup every other week. Do not offer one every couple days refusing can become habit-forming. At this point offer it live so he eats. Post a pic so I can see his condition and here is a link to my Burm Group.

I’d leave it a few dats , then one evening have a hairdryer plugged in near the viv .. get the mouse / rat in your tongs and give it a ten second blast with the hairdryer !!

Dangle it in front of its nose whilst the food is still WARM !!
If nothing happens just keep warming and offering .

If it’s nervous wait until it’s settled under a hide then dangle the warm offering in front of the hide entrance
