This is mama and papa! There was a full term dead baby as well. It was the same genetics as the gray one, the head and neck is the same, than all white. Do you think, that the grey one is simply a killer pied?https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...bdbee4ad6a.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...cd6ab9232c.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...3162a28f7a.jpg

From top down it looks like:
    1. Pied
    2. Pied
    3. Pied
    4. Killer Pied
    5. Enchi Firefly het Pied

Are you certain there was not a second dad? The odds seem a bit off. It's certainly possible, but I would expect there to be more Enchi and Fire in here and less Pied. Perhaps 1-3 are a Pied father and 4-5 are The Enchi Firefly father.

Both parents were absolute virgin and only paired each other! I raised them from hathlings. Dont you see any dark genes in them and the mother? In my homeland forum people are convinced that the gray must be pewter. Indeed, my mama pastel pied is considerably darker, than my normal(pos het axanthic) pieds. The low white pied has some funky pattern, I haven't seen in normal pieds. If there is no plus dark gene, then I have to agree with you otherwise. Well, I hoped at least an Enchi Pied...

She does look very dark but a lot of the darkening morphs cause really low white pied. It's most definitely not Cinnamon, and unlikely to be Black Pastel.

Could it be Mahogany? Is that something that is available there? That would be my best guess as to what could be making them dark. The shape of the head pattern looks very close to Mahogany in Pieds.

There are not many pictures of young Mahogany Pastel Pied but this looks similar to one of the offspring:

If Mahogany or another darkening morph is in the mother, I don't think mother has Pastel at all. Offspring would be likely:
    1-3. Mahogany Pied
    4. Pastel Mahogany Pied probable Fire
    5. Enchi Firefly het Pied

Do you want to try to take another picture of the 3rd to see if you can show the pattern better?

I don't think Enchi is in 1-3 or they would be very low white. Fire should really brighten up dorsal striping at the very least, so I don't think that's in 1-2, but without being able to see much on 3, perhaps it's in there.

He wasn't very cooperative, these are the 'best' pictures. Its a very dark animal. The pieds have solid dark, steel shiny eyes. The grey has solid blue steel eye. The mother has however light, greenish, yellowish iris. Thats why I could belive Pastel. I don't know if the breeder could have had Mahogany, I asked him, but still no answer.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...e7687142d9.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...a532795c4d.jpg

From what I can see the pattern looks pretty close to how the others look under the stripe, sort of smoky smudged look.

Worth taking a look at this to compare color and pattern https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WljJIrMg99M

Thanks for the link! Unfortunately nothing ther my hatchlings similar to. I think Cinnamon is closest to the Pied mother, and the grey hatchling. Or, maybe some more subtle gene like yellowbelly that can erase the pattern completely?
